A New Day at The Belfry

It's a very exciting time for us at The Belfry, the refurbishment is nearing completion and we thought it time to give everyone at HRG an update on the latest developments at the hotel.

165 Signature bedrooms are now completely refurbished, all featuring a classic modern theme of neutral tones and bold accent colours, filled with modern luxuries. The remainder of the rooms will be completed in quarter 1 of 2014 to enhance the full 319 bedrooms available.

Sam's Bar as it was previously known has not only had a complete makeover, it's even got a new name - Sam's Club House. It now offers a choice of dining experiences - if sport is your thing we have the perfect area where you can catch the latest live worldwide sport and enjoy a less formal dining option. The high seating in the main bar area is perfect for casual dining or simply enjoying a cold beer, glass of wine or a simple coffee.

The new 248 seater Ryder Grill restaurant opens on Wednesday 6th November, the restaurant has been fully renovated and now over looks the golf courses at the rear of the hotel and introduces a new theatre kitchen where our chefs will cook from the grill in full view of our guests.

The Ryder Grill benefits from the addition of two private dining rooms, the largest room, called the ‘Wine Room’, can accommodate up to 14 covers and is located between the Ryder Grill and Brabazon Bar. The smaller private dining room, called the ‘Terrace Room’ can accommodate 6 people and benefits from a view of the Terrace and Putting Green. The Ryder Grill will be open Monday to Sunday from 6pm to 10pm.

The Brabazon Bar, opening early December, and now located just off the lobby, will become the social hub of the hotel for people to meet and relax. To compliment the bar lounge, 4 semi-private seating areas have been designed off the hotel reception called Cabanas.

We will keep you posted as we complete further phases of the refurbishment through updateme in the forthcoming months.
